We've compiled a short list of the best spots to view firework displays on the Fourth of July weekend because you just can't celebrate America without fireworks! 

1.) Patriot's Point: The largest fireworks display in Charleston takes place at the Patriot's Point Naval & Maritime Museum. Unfortunately, tickets are sold out for the U.S.S. Yorktown event, but you can opt for the free admission on the grassy area beside the ship. Parking is $10 and coolers and chairs are welcome. On the grassy area, there will be food vendors and children's entertainment. The event lasts from 4pm-10pm and is fun for the whole family!

Every Tuesday from now until September 27th, King of Pops and yoga instructor Beth Cosi are hosting a free yoga class at the North Charleston River Front Park. Come out and cool off with a refreshing King of Pop's treat after your yoga session! 

Party in the Park Tuesday, June 27th, 6:00pm - 9:00pm. This free summer concert series at the Waterfront Memorial Park located directly under the Ravenel Bridge is a local favorite. Make sure to bring your lawn chairs and food and beer vendors will be on site. 

Movies at Folly Beach Wednesday, June 28th. Every Wednesday

104 Rutledge is a spectacular home located in the Harleston Village neighborhood of Downtown Charleston. Built by prosperous Edisto Island planter, Thomas B. Seabrook, in 1816, the house offers many unique features including, stained glass windows, Victorian window heads and hand carved mantles.

In fact, according to an article written by the Post and Courier in 1936, the owner of the house at the time received a letter from the Smithsonian documenting the important of one of the hand carved marble fireplaces. The letter expressed the value of the mantle and says they belong with those found in George II houses in England. The letter also mentions that the mantle probably took roughly 15 years to complete in Italy before being moved to a home in
