Julia Cockrell was born and raised in Charleston. In 2004, she moved to Los Angeles to obtain her B.S. in Business Administration, concentrating in real estate finance at the University of Southern California. While living in Los Angeles, Julia worked as an assistant at a commercial real estate firm and gained valuable experience preparing marketing packages and handling many different aspects of the real estate process. Upon graduating from USC in 2008, she moved back to Charleston, obtained her South Carolina real estate license and joined Handsome Properties, Inc. as a marketing assistant.
With a passion for the arts, Julia has always loved painting, drawing, and photography. When she was 17, she was introduced to the digital arts and has enjoyed digital photography and enhancement ever since.
Today, she uses her finance, investment, real estate knowledge, computer skills, passion for digital photography, and love of Charleston to complete the marketing team at Handsome Properties, Inc.
Julia is a member of the Charleston Trident Association of Realtors, South Carolina Association of Realtors, and the National Association of Realtors. In her spare time, she enjoys taking pictures, going out in the boat to Morris Island, walking on the beach, swimming, and spending time with family.

"There are too many things to love about Charleston to choose just one. I love the friendliness of the people, the salty air, the food only Charleston can produce, the history and architecture, the relaxed lifestyle, and probably most of all, being able to go out in the boat or ride down to Folly Beach and play in the Atlantic whenever I choose - I love being so close to the ocean." |
