One could say Betsy Battistelli was raised on real estate. The Manchester, New Hampshire, native was exposed to the profession at a young age, as her mother and stepfather ran a small, specialized real estate firm in New Hampshire.
As Betsy watched her parents work, she gained a profound understanding of the business and how to fulfill clients' needs and desires. This fueled her own wish to continue in the business and to help clients find their dream homes.
Betsy graduated from the University of New Hampshire in 2004 with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Arts and a minor in History. After college, Betsy moved to Charleston, South Carolina, and began her career as a downtown Charleston real estate agent. She has become an expert on the city’s unique architecture, history, and preservation efforts.
Betsy's deep admiration for all things historical has led her to become a member of the South Carolina Historical Society and Save the Light, the Morris Island Lighthouse preservation project. Betsy is also a member of the Charleston Trident Association of Realtors, the South Carolina Association of Realtors, and the National Association of Realtors.
When she is not working with clients, she enjoys yoga, Pilates, golf, and playing with Bella, her yellow Labrador retriever puppy.

My Favorite Thing about Charleston:
"I love viewing the Morris Island Lighthouse, especially by boat from the Atlantic Ocean. Its splendor really is magnificent. Save the Light, The Morris Island Lighthouse preservation project, truly shows the character of Charleston. Residents are proud of the history here, and we do what we can to safeguard it for future generations."
